What is a "CHSP"?

A package to assist with lower level needs. You are somewhat restricted in relation to which service providers you can choose from as the funding is allocated to service providers by way of a grant. The Meal Pantry is NOT ABLE to assist with subsidised meals under this category.

What is "My Aged Care'?

This is the government website where you can register for assessment to identify whether you qualify for an 'assistance package'.
Once you have been assessed you will be advised of what level of package you are eligible for.
Once you receive confirmation of your package details, contact us and we will work with your package provider.

What is a Home Care Package (HCP)?

This is government support funding to help you stay in your own home. This funding can be used for a number of services, one of which is meal preparation, which we can assist with.

What is a Plan or Package Manager?

A Plan or Package manager is a person or organisation who assists with the allocation of the funding you receive.

How do I use may package to buy meals from The Meal Pantry?

Once you have received confirmation of your package and have appointed a package manager you simply ask them to contact us to confirm your package and approve our services. As soon as we receive this confirmation we will contact you to advise the ordering process.
